The official Dimensions Festival promo directed by Liam Bream and I is now live. Located within an abandoned fort, the film expresses how ‘one’ can get lost within the underground electronic music on offer.
 
The project involved working closely with Nicolas Jaar, Four Tet and Mount Kimbie. Here are a few stills from the video:

Earlier this year, I was commissioned by Christian Louboutin to direct the making of his retrospective exhibition at the Design Museum.

In August, I was commissioned by Victoria Gucci-Losio to direct a commercial for BPVG Moda focusing on Vintage Gucci. Working closely with Victoria, we aimed to produce a simplistic film that would replicate the aesthetic of a 70’s fashion shoot. Currently in post production, the film is to be launched at New York, London, Milan and Paris fashion weeks. Modelled by Katya Zalitko, here are a few previews from the rushes.

Earlier this year I was commissioned by Ranking Records to photograph the band Submotion Orchestra to promote their debut album ‘Finest Hour’. In collaboration with Daniel Foxx we shot in b&w and colour 35 film and experimented with the theme of being abandoned and submerged.

This week I’ve been helping my brother put his 2012 animation showreel together.  He’s had a busy year at Nvizible – London, working on films including Sam Mendez’s ‘Skyfall’, Tim Burton’s ‘Frankenweenie’, Jon Wright’s ‘Grabbers’ and Jonathan Liebesman’s ‘Wrath of the Titans’. I was recently commissioned to shoot high-speed film for Chris Michael Fretwell’s new film ‘The Pugilist’s Son’. Working closely with the director of photography, Maja Zamojda, we spent the day in an east London boxing ring with actors Gary Stretch and Tom Bott.

This month I’ve been working with the Design Museum and Christian Louboutin in preparation for his twenty year retrospective exhibition. Commissioned to direct a documentary on the exhibition, I’ve spent the past week at Spring Studios working with Musion, Square Zero and director Ali Madhavi who were challenged to create a hologram of Dita Von Teese.
